The performance <How To Go Out From Here (Como Sair Daqui)> embraces the different creative paths of the two artists Min Jung Park (South Korea) and Eduardo Colombo (Brazil). After the season of the solo piece by Min Jung Park “The One Who Lost” (A que Perdeu) in São Paulo in 2016, the two artists started to collaborate sharing procedures of research and creation, developing together new performative possibilities.
The work developed in 2016 and returned again in 2017 when Eduardo Colombo invited Min Jung Park to participate as an artist in residence in SAMAUMA - Residência Artística Rural, the space where he develops the program of research “Practices of Presence”, in Mogi das Cruzes (SP).
How can we call this world, a society filled with illness? A man, suspected on trial for an act he does not know; a woman, lost in deepest disgust, searching for a way out from the known. They found themselves together in this white room with others. They confess, they accept, they pray. And they ask: ‘How to go out from here?’
